Our most cherished freedom — the right to practice our faith freely, especially in the public square — is under attack like never before. At APP Foundation, we seek to educate Americans on the dangers threatening religious freedom today and to defend those who face legal persecution for their sincerely held beliefs.
The religion then of every man must be left to the conviction and conscience of every man: and it is the right of every man to exercise it as these may dictate.
In the past, progressives argued that the effort to impose same-sex marriage on dissenting states was about “rights” and “equality,” but now that the Supreme Court has discovered same-sex marriage as a constitutional right via the Obergefell ruling, radical anti-religious activists have rapidly begun using government force to coerce people of faith into submission. Christians across the nation are being attacked—socially, culturally, and legally—in a coordinated effort to redefine the traditional understanding of marriage as bigotry, or the moral equivalent of racism.
This is a battle that must be fought. APP Foundation is raising money to launch a Religious Freedom Project that would establish a more permanent framework to animate and support a grassroots movement for the reestablishment of religious freedom in America.
